The
SEBEECC/ PERSIK’S LAND, an association that reassembles the founders
of French
Contemporary endurance and great breeders from the “cradle “
If today in 2003 Persik’s
Land is composed wih only 18 breeders, one should know that over 70%
of the horses from the “cradle” entered in national and
international rides in 2003, have qualified themselves among which
4 winners and 4 Top Five, as well as 1 European Vice Champion and 1
individual bronze medal , both of them team gold medallists
for France.
In 2000, out of the 300 horses that have qualified themselves at least
once during these French top competitions, 26 were born here and
were bred by our breeders
(1). For Persik’s Land, this represents 12% of
the qualified horses in
France. This percentage includes one reserve world an European champion, one
French national female champion and numerous medallists.
All these results have been our token of quality for years, since everyone
knows that in the majority of rides usually more than 50% of the horses is
eliminated.
That is why we can state that, without taking rider and training, our horses
already have an advantage at the starting line, because of their genetics and
our methods of breeding.
(1) Francis Poujol, the oldest endurance
breeder in France, was recently awarded the “Merite Agricole” medal,
in honour of his achievements as a breeder in particular of endurance
horses -among which
champions and winners, which never happened before in France.
